The Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities established a prestigious program in 2018 to bring outstanding post-docs from around the world to Israel’s research universities.

The program’s purpose is to attract young outstanding scholars from around the world to come to Israel and integrate into and strengthen research and make personal and professional contacts with Israeli researchers, ultimately leading to future research collaboration.

This year the program was expanded due to a new partnership between the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities and the Council for Higher Education (CHE).
It was decided to grant fellowships in all fields of knowledge including the humanities and social sciences. (natural sciences, engineering, exact sciences, medicine, humanities, life sciences, social sciences)

The fellowships are for a period of two years for the amount of 160,000 ΝΙ5 (~$50,000) a year.
