Academic Advisor (AA)
Academic Advisor (AA)
At the beginning of each academic year, the Departmental Committee of the Department assigns students’ to departmental members randomly. All first-year students are equally distributed among departmental members. Students’ AA remains the same until the completion of their studies. In case of absence of the AA for a long period of time (e.g., sabbatical, sick leave, retirement), the Departmental Committee assigns the students of this AA to another staff member. The process is repeated after the completion of the admission of students with special needs/conditions or for those students who were later enrolled in the Departments.
The Academic Advisor is responsible for informing and advising students on issues such as:

- professional prospects
- problem solving of issues that make studying difficult
- information about the University’s services and the Internship
